Who We Help
Our Customers
Anyone who is in receipt of benefits or on low income, or who for whatever reason is in need of furniture and household goods and can not afford to buy new items.
In 2009 we helped over 15000 families who have fallen on hard times, and need a hand up, not a hand out.
Our typical customer is a family who have lost everything and have been given the key to an empty house and we try to make that house into a home.
Several customers have come to us after damaging one piece of a set of furniture, because you never know, we might just have a matching one to replace it!
This could include
People who have been in hospital.
Immigrants.
People returning to live in this county.
People who have to move to a different sized house, such as the elderly moving into a bungalow.
Rehousing the homeless.
The other side of the coin
When people get new furniture, household goods and appliances, or moving house and do not want to take their old things, we will take away their old ones providing they are in good, reusable condition.
When a loved one passes away, we will help with clearing their house.
If you are getting a completely new kitchen, give us a call and we may take the old one.
